Hi, I’m Hana, an undergraduate student at MIT, currently working as a researcher in the Macfarlane Lab. My research focuses on synthesizing nanoparticles with charged polymers and exploring how variations in size affect crystal lattice structures. This hands-on experience has deepened my skills in laboratory techniques, including UV/Vis spectroscopy and SAXS. At MIT, I’m also involved in the Motorsports Frame Team, where I collaborate with peers on engineering projects. Previously, I graduated as valedictorian from Montrose School, where I led the BioBuilders Club and served as Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper. I’m passionate about materials science and engineering, and I enjoy engaging in leadership roles that foster collaboration and innovation. I’m excited to connect with fellow students and professionals who share my interests in research and engineering. So if you need help getting into MIT, or if you're looking to explore engineering, I look forward to meeting you.
